We have secured a flight plan to Albania out of Grand Rapids that leaves on Sunday, June 15th at 10:00am. From there we will fly to Chicago where we will have a 4 hour layover, and then we fly on to Munich, Germany and then to Tirana, Albania. We should arrive in Tirana on June 16th at 11:50am, their time (I believe they are 6 hours ahead of us).
Our first court hearing in Albania will be on June 27th. About a week after that we will have a 2nd court hearing to finalize paper work, and then there is a mandatory 15 day waiting period for the paper work to be approved and completed. We will then fly home (without Hannah) on Tuesday, July 8th.
...We will return to Albania approximately 2-1/2 to 3 weeks after that and then bring Hannah Grace home after another 1-1/2 to 2 week stay there.
Whew! What an ordeal, but we are trusting the Lord to keep us at peace and in His path of leading :) I feel calmer now. Thank you all for your prayers! God is keeping us in His hands and giving us great comfort.

My first Mother's Day
My first Mother's day!.... It's been such a wonderful day. I received the best surprise ever in my life! Bob somehow managed to get ahold of some new photos of Hannah Grace, which I had never seen, and had them pulled up on the big overhead screen at church this morning in special honor of me. WOW! Wasn't it enough already that I was able to stand, for the first time, among the other honored women?! :) It was so overwhelming to see Hannah holding the little album we had sent her and hugging the stuffed bear we sent too! Wow,Wow, Wow!!! My cup runneth over :)

It is Thursday, May 8th, 2008, and we continue to wait for a court hearing date in Albania. We are told by our adoption agent that we should know when that date will be by Tuesday, May 13th. We need to arrive in Albania at least 2 days before the scheduled court hearing there, so we're getting pretty anxious to purchase flight tickets and get packed up. Can hardly wait to meet Hannah Grace :) P.S. Her birthday is May 27th...she'll be two years old :)
